Little Zizou - its not about the football kids

Just watched a sweet little Indian English Movie today called "Little Zizou". The name is based on the dream of the narrator and main character, a small boy, who wants to meet his hero, Zinedine Zidane (nickname - Zizou), the best footballer in the world. He keeps on praying to his dead mother for Zizou to come to India, and though this does not happen, the movie talks about many simple truths of life in a refreshingly light and attractive way. It uses the background of the Parsi community in Mumbai, with some excellent actors like Boman Irani, Shernaz Patel and Sohrab Ardeshir (for the first time in a main role) seen from the eyes of the young protagonist (Jahan Bativala). It talks about fanaticism, censorship, freedom of the press, family feuds & secrets, and dreams and aspirations of youngsters of the Parsis and people in general. What it does differently is do this in 90 minutes, and in a very breezy way that makes you laugh often. A great Sunday watch in my opinion :-)
